Choosing a master's shouldn't be guesswork.

Students spend €20,000–50,000 on a master's chosen by reputation and gut feeling — not by fit, cost, or whether they'll even get in. Mastcher exists to change that.

Why I built this

I'm João Puerta, and I started Mastcher from Lisbon. [1–2 sentences: the personal moment that triggered it — e.g. your own master's search, or watching someone close go through it blind. FOUNDER TO FILL.] What I kept running into was the same problem: hundreds of programs scattered across Europe, each with its own deadlines, language rules, and admission requirements — and no honest way to know which ones actually fit me. So I built the tool I wished I'd had.

What Mastcher does

You tell us about yourself — your background, budget, goals, and where you want to study. We score every program against your real profile on four things: how likely you are to get in, whether it fits your budget, whether it matches your career goals, and whether it fits you personally. You get a ranked shortlist. Not a search box — a match. Today that's 150+ curated European programs across seven countries, and growing. Every program is reviewed by a human before it reaches you.
